My purpose is rooted in a deep, personal connection to the sectors we serve—aged care, early childhood, and leadership—all of which revolve around the core principle of effective and inspiring leadership.

I grew up watching the hard, blue-collar work of my mother, and this instilled in me a powerful recognition of the critical importance of making a genuine difference. This early appreciation drew me to nursing, driven by the desire for variety and the direct ability to impact lives. It then evolved into business and executive leadership and a deep appreciation of the role that governance and strategy play in enterprise success.

Over 35 years in the sector, my "Why" has evolved, but its core remains intact: I love this industry, I am dedicated to driving meaningful change, and I find immense satisfaction in enabling leaders to be the very best version of themselves.

The original concept for Anchor Excellence was a singular commitment to impact the aged care sector. Today, I proudly see our collective influence extending far beyond me. It is our entire ecosystem, built on the steadfast values of Excellence, Evidence-based work, and a genuine approach to care for our clients.

That small window into my purpose—shared with our Executive team—has blossomed into the Anchor Impact Group, comprising four brands and a continuously growing sphere of influence.

This is what truly brings me joy: creating a sustainable, impactful group that not only inspires our team but also provides them with the opportunity to grow their careers and extend their professional impact.
